After several weeks you'll do just fine hydrating after a workout. Trust me, there are thousands of us post-vsg and we are working out and perfectly capable of hydrating ourselves, we aren't collapsin

Why wait until after the workout to drink? Drink smaller amounts during as doable. Example, trowel, trowel, trowel, Water bottle, trowel.....

You will be able to take larger drinks as time passes. A small bottle of Gatorade I can drink almost 1/2 when I come in from sweating. You will be able to hydrate just not gulp down like you do now.

I hope to have surgery this month. Here's my current worry: you know when you've come off your hike or your bike or from the garden hot and sweaty and thirsty and you grab that cold bottle of water and gulp-gulp-gulp those delicious ice cold mouthfuls of water to quench your desperate thirst? How in the world am I supposed to take little tiny sips of water after VSG? I've been told
I'll never have the capacity to guzzle cold water after a workout again? This is so concerning to me! How do you hydrate well after a workout?
