In a nutshell:

1. If it makes you uncomfortable (gas or abdominal pain), don't do it.

2. If no pain, sugar free is okay, not sugary.

3. Don't take it to "wash your food down.

4. Drink in moderation.

I have a 2-3 beers or diet cokes every week or so. No pain and no gain...
