Hey so even tho I don't have an exact date my next app is Sept 1st and he said if I lost the weight and insurance was approved we would schedule 2-3 weeks out so mid to end of September. Anyone else looking at a September surgery date?

I feel ur pain, I've been through this process twice the first time I lost my insurance and had to wait till I got a new one. So yeah it royally sucks. But Gl I look forward to hearing how it goes.

I've been through Psych and Nutrition counseling (April-June). Approved late June. Now I'm just waiting for pre-op testing (Upper GI series. EKG - 8/10) and blood work. Last step is pre-op with surgeon and a pre-op class. It's been a little slow since insurance approval. I'm getting anxious for a date.

I'm September 6th! I was hoping for a date in August but my hospital was super booked. I'll settle for September 6th though. It's the greatest feeling ever. It just hasn't hit me yet. My bariatric class, pre op testing, and last appointment with my surgeon is August 18th.

So I just got the call, I was approved!!! She said once I meet the 15lbs loss goal that was set for me I can move up my next app date so that I'm able to get a surgery date sooner. I have pre op class Monday.
