Belly button repair

I am 24 days out from surgery, down 24 lbs. I have no complications with anything except my belly button won't dry up and scab? Is this a common side effect and if so how long should I expect to see closure?

    No, I wouldn't say that's normal...I suggest giving your surgeon's office a call. All of my incisions were healed very quickly. Just to be on the safe side check with your surgeon.
