Welcome! Yes, insurance can be a total mess. Though, if you can go through the hoops, give them what they want and have patience it's worth it to have them pay for it. I am a self-pay patient so I was in the doctor's office and into surgery and out pretty quick. If the insurance thing doesn't pan out, perhaps look into a loan and having it financed through the bank or pay by credit card and earn some airplane mileage!

    See right now I am a student so I cant afford to self-pay. My husband is the only worker and we have a son that is 10 1/2 months old. no credit cards.
