Tomorrow is the first day of my pre-op liquid diet. I cleaned the fridge of all the contraband and temptations and stocked it with Jello, juices, Gatorade and Protein drinks. Forget running a race, I'm ready to win this marathon.

You have a GREAT attitude! You got this!

Yup, it's good to plan ahead.

I went through a sinus surgery in March and afterwards I didn't eat for 5 days! Just Water, because my teeth hurt (that is an awful surgery!) Anyway, I remember getting out of bed one day and walking to the bathroom, I almost passed out. I lost my balance and clung to the wall for a minute to recoup. Like you, I am cleaning out my cupboards and buying special foods early so I have things in the house prepared or easily put together for me. This includes small containers (1/2 cup) for packing lunch or freezing leftovers. I'm not going to let that happen this time, I feel like I got this.
