Disappointed

Actually disappointed is an understatement!

was supposed to have my surgery today, but the a/c in the surgical facility stopped working by the time I was to have my procedure, so I was cancelled. I dont have a date now. The doctors told me it MIGHT be next week Sunday, but this isnt guaranteed because they have to find a time to squeeze me in now. They wont know until tomorrow.

This means I have to go to work tomorrow. This means explaining to everyone why I am back in the office. This means rescheduling for the time off again AND I have to stay on the liquid diet until this is sorted out.

I was so upset. I just wanted to say F it and not go thru with it at all. I didnt, but this additional extra time is frustrating.

    Hang in there! This is about you and your health. Do what you need to move forward. I understand being frustrated. Think how good it will feel when this part is over. Good luck to you and it will get better!

    Ugh! How frustrating! I am so sorry! BTW, I didn't realize there were doctors that did surgery on Sundays.... Fingers crossed they get it sorted for you first thing tomorrow!

    I am sorry to hear about the delay, but who knows maybe there is a reason why it is was delayed. Maybe it's in God's divine plan, that you wait a little longer. Hopefully, they will be able to reschedule you soon, and you will be able to get the time off that you need. I pray that the next scheduled surgery is at a convenient time for you, that the facility is fully operational and functioning properly, including the a/c (trust me you don't want to be hot and miserable in the hospital). I pray that the procedure goes well. Wish you the best!

    @@Jasminkw I know you must be disappointed but all things work together for the good. Mine is 8/31/16 and I am already dreading the preopdiet. Good luck and hang in there. We have come too far!
