Hunger growls

I'm six weeks out and for the past 3 days I have been having a constant hunger with the feeling in my stomach and making growling noise .could it be cause it's right before my period and my hormones just making me feel so hungry.

My stomach sounds like fireworks sometimes but I know it's not hungry. It's been loud enough to startle my dog lol
