Incision hernia?

One of my incisions was through my belly button. I don't feel anything there, nothing hurts, but there is a hard lump under the skin. I'm thinking its scar tissue and if it were a hernia it would hurt or there would be some other indication.

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow but if anyone has had an incision hernia, what was it like?
