Frustrated!

I have been going through a hospital in Cleveland planning on getting the sleeve. I basically have the all clear. My insurance does not pay!! The cost is 23,000.

After I had all the tests and lost 30 lbs I started to look into Medical Tourism and found a great surgeon in Mexico for less than half of Cleve price.

What frustrates me is that they expect me to go on a Adkins type diet and still lose 5-10% of my weight before surgery, which is Aug 17th. I understand the pre op diet and shrinking my liver, but I'm so frustrated that they want me to lose 12 Lbs, at the least, before my surgery in a month. I took me 4 months to lose 30!!

I don't know if I'm being unreasonable and a baby lmk and don't be jerks about it!

$23,000 is twice what I paid and I wasn't required to 'weigh' a certain amount since I paid cash for the surgery.
