August is around the corner!

Next month I'll be having my surgery!! It's crazy how fast the month will go. From pre-op surgery meeting with the surgeon to ask any questions. To the two week liquid diet ( gotta be strong ) so excited and nervous. How are y'all feeling???

I'm so excited!! I had my pre op with my dr yesterday and I'll do my class on the 27th. My big day is the 8th, we're getting close!!

Aug 1st for me. My pre op is 2 shakes and a meal that's high protein low carb. So I'm lucky from what I'm reading of people having to do just shakes!

Aug 3rd here - 4 shakes a day and at least 96 ozs of beverages per day (Protein shakes count). I'm mixing up my sources of protein - ProJoe in the morning, Bariatric Advantage unflavored shakes mixed with unsweetened soy milk 2x/day, and Bariatric advantage vegetable Soup protein for dinner. As long as I don't wait too long for the protein all is well.

sleep is easier after the veggie soup

I go to bed when sleepy

Last night I went to bed around 7:30

Tonight I did not have veggie soup so it is more difficult - just starting to feel sleepy around 10:30.
