I have completed everything necessary over the last 6 months to prepare for my surgery. I had seen my psychiatrist and she suggested that I see a specialist to deal with emotional eating. I looked into it and with my financial strapping I could not afford even just the $200 evaluation. So my surgeon had me see the psychologist within their practice. He said that my wait fluctuated throughout the 6 months (which at the time my nutritionist had sad was understandable and I was still doing a great job). My surgery date was due last week of July/first week of August, but the psychiatrist said I need to see him again in 2 months (October 26) and I need to lose at least 10-20 pounds by then. I wish my nutritionist had guided me a little more in the right direction, so that I wouldn't have to wait an extra 2 months. So I am a little disappointed to have to wait for what seems like forever...
