I'm going to the mandatory informational session this Wednesday. I'll be filling out a form to see if I qualify but a surgeon already confirmed that I do. My insurance is saying that I still have to attend which I don't mind. I'll be updating through my 6 month pre op requirements, surgery day and hospital stays and post op. I will be documenting my process through the whole thing. Including my mood and how I'm doing with the diets, gym workouts, healthy foods that work for me, weight loss pictures and updates monthly after the surgery. Hope you guys follow me through this life changing journey and I will follow you guys too, for support. x

Good luck to you! Just curious - the 6 month process: is this to determine if you're a candidate or more to see if you will change your mind in the 6 months leading up to surgery?

I will find out if I'm a candidate in a few days. I think it's more because my insurance requires it. It requires me to take 6 months of nutritional classes and they have to run all these tests and stuff like that.
