So scared of the nausea post-op. I know it's just part of it, but really hoping they can get it under control quickly. Did everyone experience nausea or did some luck out?! Hope I'm one of the lucky ones!

9+ months post-op now and I'm not sure what you are talking about.

I never had any nausea.......at all.

Zero.

Zilch.

Nada.

The only vomiting that I've experienced post op was when I had a sinus infection and had severe drainage from the meds and it made me hurl a couple times. Outside of this there may have been one other isolated case and it had zero to do with having sleeve surgery.

Don't buy into all the negative hype you read hear. I've had zero issues of any type since my surgery. ZERO complications or regrets.

Not buying into it .... Just typically get nauseated with anesthesia and my Dr indicated that nausea is also common when dealing with stomach surgery.

Glad to hear you had such great results! Hoping that I am the same.

I told anesthesiologist I get motion sickness easy. They supposedly put some kind of anti nausea meds with my anesthesia, and they put a patch behind my ear right before surgery. The only time I was nauseous was immediately after surgery when I had to sit up and get from gurney to my hospital bed. I dry heaved twice, and that was it. Zero problems. Took the patch off day 3.
