Question about meds post op

So I'm on quite a bit of medications. My question is will I be able to swallow a pill or what? I'm really hoping most of them I won't need anymore after surgery. But it may take a while. Like I'm on Prozac. I'll probably need that. Nexium, two types of blood pressure meds, Fluid pill, potassium, asthma inhalers, sleep meds, muscle relaxers, tramadol. How does all of that come into play?

I was told that I will meet with a nurse educator to go over all that. Ask your surgical team. I'm waiting for my surgery to get scheduled.

Oh OK. I was just wondering if anyone knew yet. Lol. I have two diet visits and nutrition class left to do and I'll be good to go.

You can swallow pills. I had pills within 26 hours of surgery.

You will have to discuss all those meds with your team.

OK. Well that's good to know. :)
