Mexico Bariatric Services?

Hmm, I could have sworn I posted this last night but I was a little out of it on three klonopin because of fireworks, so maybe I just imagined it.

Has anyone here gone through Mexico Bariatric Services? I am trying to research different places before making a decision. This place has an offer that includes airfare, which sounds amazing. I've already started the process with Bill Yanez with BariatricPal Team MX, but I don't want to just go with the first place I look at. I'd love to hear some info about Mexico Bariatric Services, good or bad. Thanks.

I went with the Mexico team as well, but I went with Dr. Illan. His doesn't include airfare, but it includes everything else in the $4399 price. I've read good things about Dr. Ponce de Leon too. If you do become interested in Dr. Illan, there's a Facebook group of patients (past and present/future) that support one another, and I posted my experience story on here as well!

I already joined that Facebook group actually. :) I'll probably end up going with Dr. Illan but I want to be sure I do all my research first, just in case I find someone I like better.

Has anyone here actually gone through the company called Mexico Bariatric Services though? I'd like to hear more about them too.

Ignore the link that comes up when I type Mexico... that's not the place I'm asking about.

I went through Mexico bariatric center and had a wonderful experience.

My dr was Dr. Valenzulea, and I felt safe and very well cared for the entire time I was there.

I really have no complaints at all about them

I used the belite team. Worked great. If you can fly out of Denver, it's cheap to El Paso TX, or San Diego for the boarder crossing.

Thats where I went

I don't have experience with Mexico Bariatric Services, but I'm also going to Mexico. I've chosen Dr. Ponce de Leon to do my surgery. Just waiting on the sale of our house to finalize so I can buy my plane ticket and schedule surgery!
