Diverticulitis

I'm feeling a little bummed. I am 8 weeks out and down about 40 lbs. I started having pains in my stomach so I went to my primary dr and he thinks I have Diverticulitis, which I have never had before. Anyone else dealing with this?

Not since surgery but I had this often before. Have you been eating things with seeds? Like berries? Or popcorn? Did they do an X-ray? Prescribe meds? I know exactly what it is when I get it. It's not fun at all. Definitely be mindful of what you eat. Having it (if this is what it is) makes you more likely to get it again.

I had it bad for about three years pre-op and have not had it a day since. I am 2 1/2 years post-op.
