Question about Vitamins

I read that Multivitamins it the form of pills or capsules are only 20% absorbed where as 98% is absorbed in the form of liquid and it bypasses the digestive processing and go straight to the blood stream. If that's the case how come most doctors don't mention or recommend multivitamins in the form of liquid instead of chewables and/or tablets? And instead of taking huge doses of Bariatric multivitamins (because our body doesn't absorb much of it) why don't we just take normal multivitamins in the form of liquid?
