I sat up in a chair most of the time and I'd rock myself back and forth. That kinda made things roll out. I'd put a little pressure on my abdomen area and that would move some. Then I'd stand up and kinda step side to side and it would come out. The gas pain was pretty bad for me. So I found that to help me along with all the walking.

Any movement is key.

I found laying in bed only made it worse.

The heating pad was my best friend. It helped so much with the gas and discomfort. Feel better!

I'm a week out and still experiencing gas. 3 days post op I was walking on the treadmill. I walked and walked. Still today 7 days out I have gas, and I've have had a bowel movements every day. I have not tried the heating pad so I think I'll do that tonite.

deep breathing helped me as well as standing up, stretching my arm over my head......sounds weird but it helped me......and of course the walking. I also drank standing up for the first couple of weeks.
