Nausea today after feeling great

I'm 5 weeks out and had been feeling great since about 48 hours after surgery. I was very nauseous for about 24 hours following surgery, miserable. Since then, I would occasionally wake up with mild nausea which would go away after a protein shake. But, today I have experienced waves of nausea throughout the day. Is this common? Any advice? Thanks!

It happens. Some days I just feel ick, for lack of a better word. Here and there I have days that food is not appealing and I want nothing to do with anything. Those days I stick to liquid and give my body what it wants. It could be anything though, a stomach bug or you could just be off. I wouldn't worry too much till it's a persistent thing.

Thanks! I woke up today feeling better. I'm transitioning to soft foods so it may have been something I ate? How far are you out from surgery?
