Strained fresh Watermelon Juice

I had my surgery on 6/15 and had my 2 week post op apt with my Dr yesterday. He said it was ok to move up to the puree stage.

I remember he said it was ok to have organge juice or diluted apple juice in the first 2 weeks. However I would like to know if I can have strained watermelon juice so I am only drinking the watery liquid part. The minute I had some this morning I felt a burst of energy that I don't feel with the OJ or AJ.

Is it too early to drink Watermelon juice ? Its one of the few things I can actually enjoy.

I don't think it would be a problem. I drank white grape juice (no added sugar) with no issues.

My program allowed me to add some fruit including watermelon (not juiced and strained) beginning at 2 wks. I'm only allowed to have a little fruit if I'm meeting protein and water goals already.
