Liquid diet

So I start my liquid diet Tuesday and I'm starting to freak out a bit. I am getting nervous not really just about the liquids but about after surgery.

I guess I never really looked at it but I do eat my feelings as most of us I think.

Just nervous I guess no second thoughts just need a new way to handle things like feelings.

What is the liquid diet you speak of? My pre op diet has raw veggies and 3 oz of chicken. Everything else is liquids. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

You can do it. Just keep in mind that the liquid diet is temporary, and that it will be worth all the temporary discomforts you may experience. Have you had any counseling sessions to help with the emotional end of this?

@@Caribear, no no counseling for this. I know I can do this it's just my mind trying to doubt me if that makes sense.

I'm doing this one way or the other I won't be like this again, this isn't the life I want to live anymore. I will survive this :-)
