Dr Kuri Pre-Op diet??? Scheduled for 09/06/07 YEAH!!!

Maybe I am jumping the gun but I am wondering about Dr Kuri's pre-op diet. I just scheduled yesterday so maybe there will be information forthcoming.

Also - did everyone get :nervous from family/friends when you told them you were going to Mexico to have surgery? I have for sure. I have had the benefit of reading all of the information on the boards and feel very comfortable with my decision.

16 days and counting it down:car:

I had surgery with Dr Kuri last month and wasn't required to lose pre-op ... I do believe though that if your BMI is 45 or above, you will be required to do the "liver shrinking diet" ... if that's the case, they'll let you know.

Best of luck to you!

BlooEyez - thanks for your reply.

I was told that my liver would need to lose weight prior to surgery. I will keep searching the boards - I am sure I will find more information - I think answers are here for any questions that any of us may have.

So - did everything go the way you thought it would? I am very much at ease now that I have made my decision, set a date and purchased an airline ticket.

Now that I know that Dr Kuri did your surgery also, I will have to be sure to keep any eye on your progress. Will be joining the Yahoo group too.
