Approved!!!!!!!!!!!

:clap2: After "losing" my paperwork twice I was approved for surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When the insurance co. finally received my paperwork (and with several calls from both my dr.'s office an me) I was approved in LESS THAN 2 HOURS! It happened Fri. afternoon so I have to wait until tomorrow to set my date. It will be very soon because I go back to teaching on 9/4. The dr.'s office knows this and is working with me to get it all going - maybe this week! Besides getting married and having my kids I have never been so happy!:whoo:

Congratulations,

I teach too and was hoping to be banded before returning back to work but oh well. My papers should be headed for insurance so we'll see.

Congrats again.

One thing I learned is to call to make sure your insurance company has your paperwork. Even though my dr.'s office had two fax confirmations, the paperwork was MIA twice. If I had been more persistent then I'd already be banded, but that's my nature.

Congratulations, Pam! I am also a teacher and had all but given up hope that I would be able to be banded before school started until I got the call on Wednesday that they were scheduling me for 8/27. It will give me exactly a week to recover before heading back. I hope it will be enough time. I don't really want to start the school year off feeling lousy.

Good luck!!
