Chicagoland area?

Hello everyone,

I am very new here and I am wondering if anyone has had a problem with their PRimary Care doctor? My doctor doesn't support my decision of having the VSG procedure. It also got worse when I mentioned I would also look into going abroad for the procedure.

I think it might be time to find a new doctor. Does anyone have any suggestions. Post op care is my biggest concern!

Thank you,

Cynthia

Northwest suburbs but my doctor was in Lincoln Park (I lived there for years before moving to the suburbs)

I would ask surgeon for a referral to a primary. Assuming you have met with surgeon or just call surgeons office, tell them of your problems and ask which primary docs are agreeable and refer frequently to surgeon
