Surgery Day is Here! 6/15/16

Within 12 hours, I'll be sleeved! I'm excited and so happy to have almost gotten through my clear liquid day...couldn't believe I wished I was back on my 2 week liquid diet...haha. Kept most of the nerves away by keeping busy cleaning and boy is my house spick and span!! Lol. Going to get some sleep before it's time to head to the hospital.

Hospital stay was rough, but no complications from actual surgery. Had severe nausea from anesthesia, then my BP was extra high, but now that I'm back at home, I'm managing both between Zofran and BP meds and BP cuff machine. My BP seems to rise as I'm nearing the end of my pain med window, so I'm keeping on top of it by taking pain meds exactly every 6 hours. Feeling every sip and swallow, which is very different than I'm used to, but it's a good reminder to go slow.
