It all depends on your insurance and your surgeon's office. When my info was submitted to insurance (on a Friday) I was approved on Monday. I had a surgery date about a week later. I went through UHC.

I had my pre op visit Dec 1st, my information was submitted to my insurance, approved and surgery was Jan 12th.

I had a tentative surgery date when I left the Drs office on the 1st.

My seminar was December 2nd. I scheduled an appointment with the Dr at the Bariatric Center the next day. My first appointment was January 13th. I had to have blood work done, an EKG, a sleep study, and I had to lose weight. I also had 3 appointments with a Nutritionist and 3 appointments with a therapist. My first appointment with the surgeon was May 6 and my surgery was approved by insurance on May 24th. I got my date that day and my date is 6/15.

I had my date before I did my pre ops so I'm not sure how long it'll take for you to get a date. Sorry.

My first appointment was January 4th. Was approved June 10th.
