How long does insurance take!?!?

I live in NJ and I have Amerihealth. All of my pre certs are done, 3 nut consults, 3 bariatric meetings, and 1 psych eval. My surgeons office sent the request to the insurance today! I'm wondering if anyone is / was in a similar situation, and how long did the insurance take to approve it?

I have BS/CA and it took under 1 week. It really depends on your specific insurance co. Some can take up to 30 days but I think most will do within 2 weeks.
