3 month checkin

I had my 3 month check in on Friday. They said I am right on track! Starting weight was 240 pre surgery diet start. 225 day of surgery and 185 at the weigh In Friday. I am 5'5. I would like it to be more but I am happy! The big news was my Bp was 112/83 which pre surgery on meds even would hit an all time low of 149/99. So I will take that value being off meds! I was 18w pre surgery highest and now I am solidly in a 14 and large instead of a 1x.

My next milestone is 20 lbs more lost by my 6 month and feeling good enough to take a picture and post it!

If my lazy butt can lose the weight and also exercise I believe anyone can!

Just thought I would share for those pre surgery wondering if it is worth it. To me, it was well worth it and I feel great!

Your stats are very close to mine....I'm also 5'5"....my starting weight was 252....but surgery weight was 225. My surgery was 5/16 so just a little less than 3 weeks for me now and I've lost 15 lbs since surgery for a total of 40 overall!...I can't wait to see where I am at 3 months!

I have a photo phobia but I took 3 selfies and sent them to my friend to hold. I will have her take a 3 month and hold those as well. I need to talk to a therapist about my inability to look in mirrors or take pictures. I have been this way since 2005 (when I weighed in the 140's) I have peeked at my face every once in awhile and up close I can tell a difference.

But putting me out there for the world to see is another matter.

Nothing strikes fear in me more than seeing an email from Facebook that says "you have been pinned in a photo"

Baby steps!!
