Returning to work

Anyone have a job that requires being on feet all day? How long did you wait before returning to work?

I'm on my feet for about 6 hrs out of an 8 HR shift . I'm a phlebotomist so I do hospital rounds. I was off work for 4 weeks but I think I would've been fine returning at 3 weeks.

Thank you. I am about to start a job in retail at Nordstrom. I have been trying to get my surgery date scheduled but now I am concerned that I will not be able to take off enough time.
