Memorial Weekend BBQ...what to eat?

I had surgery on 5/2 ! Yay! I'm feeling great!

I have a BBQ I'm attending on Sunday and will be on regular food.

What do you recommend for me to eat? I'm thinking chicken and veggies will be my go to.

What about potato salad?

This will definitely be a test. I would usually drink wine and beer and graze on everything. I'll be changing my habits.

I haven't told anyone about surgery. But am open to it if they ask.

There is a pool, so I think I'll plan on being in the pool or laying on a lounge chair soaking in the sun.

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks ;)

I would go for chicken and veggies. Bring a dish you can eat just in case. Have fun!

@@Inner Surfer Girl oh I didn't even think about the incisions. I think they are all healed. No scabs. They were glued. Hmm. Maybe I should ask my surgeon.
