Anyone else have a June surgery date? Mine's the 22nd. I started the process Feb 17. I would like to go from 340 to 160, I'm 5'6" and 43 yrs old.

I'm scheduled for 6/24 but am shooting for the 23rd. I, too, made my decision in February, around the same time as you. I think it was the 23rd-ish. I started off at 378 in January and am at 338 (need to get to 320 before surgery so I don't have to pay the additional $250 for being over 50 bmi...I'm self pay and going to Mexico). My goal weight is 140-ish, I'm 5'8" and 45 yrs old.

ETA: So sorry! I'm actually getting the sleeve. Apparently, I was just so excited that someone with similar stats as me having surgery around the same time! :D

I just had the loop DS 6/8/16. I am still resting at home very comfortable and very lucky. I had six months to read and watch videos. My entire experience has been great. I have had little to no pain whatsoever and seem to be healing well. Good luck to all that are about to go through the procedure.

Just got home from the hospital (2 nights). On clear liquids then full liquids tomorrow, protein shakes, pudding, etc. Seven incisions (had to fix an umbillical hernia, too.) Feeling pretty good, walking really well. Pain in my stomach from bloating and pressure. Surgery was 3 hrs. No complications. Trying to drink slowly.

Great! Glad to hear all went well. Let us know when you get to puréed foods
