oooo! here's what I do.

at work we have a vending machine (coke) with a curved front. It makes you look a lot skinnier from the front and sides.

I'd say it shaves off about 50 pounds. :D :D :D :D

I've been going back there to stand in front of it a couple of times a week for the past year, to envision my progress. I'll have to stop soon, as it will take off more than I want to loose :o this can be a great motivator!

Also I have been looking at some pictures of myself before I put the weight on. Now, I know I won't be YOUNG like that again, but it is helping me to mentally reacquaint myself with my smaller body.

Coke machine ???.......cmon, it's 2016. ......computers, programs, apps, .......Photoshop.

Of course......you could always just wait a few months and you'll be there. ;)

I definitely do! I even have the exact outfit in my head of what I will wear once I am able. Plus, I am going to wear that outfit with the exact hiking sandals I imagine wearing while hiking with my dog.

I'm still pre-op... I just keep the vision of the shopping spree I'll be having in my mind... In this vision I'm actually able to fit into designer clothes of my choice rather than being stuck wearing only pants/jeans that stretch and stretch. I would love to be at a stable size... My closets often remind me of a store, when I open them it's reminder of my various success and failures of dieting due to the range of sizes I have... Since considering surgery it the first time I'm not giving away clothes that don't currently fit.
