Second Crystal Lite. Most are too sweet, but they have one that as Watermelon, Strawberry, and Orange that is quite good!

What worked for me was to gradually wean myself off of carbonation and then caffeine. I cut back on my diet sodas and increased my Water consumption. I also drank more alternative beverages like tea

I used to love Coke Zero. I am now three and a half months post op VSG and haven't had one nor wanted one. Don't want to try I figure I am not missing it so why try. I drink coffee every day, have since the second day after surgery, I only have one a day and that seems to do me. I have no issues with coffee at all.

Meh......don't stress yourself out.

Enjoy the diet sodas now. You'll forget all about them once you have your surgery.

You won't even miss them....at least that's how it was with me. Almost 11 months out from VSG, I don't think about them at all.

It's a non-issue.

I've been cleared by my surgeon to have them if want, but I no longer really care about them.

I was a hyoooooge drinker of Diet Dew and Diet Coke when I was pre-op.

I drank about 5 Coke zeros a day all be way up until surgery day. I am almost 3 weeks post op and I miss them a little but not too much. It's more of a lack of variety problem. I don't drink coffee or tea and all the crystal

Lights are so sweet to me now that I basically just drink Water. Which is great.... But a tad boring

Oh I am right there with ya'll! HUGE Diet Coke drinker, 6-8 a day, cannot stand Water unless I am out in the heat! I'm in the insurance approval process now, been denied once. But I think I'll just let the surgery take care of them.
