Hi everyone! Its been a week. Ive mostly been itchy rather than in pain so that was frustrating. But doctor said I could take benadryl. I finally have my routine together. Pain meds and something to drink within reach lol. I've certainly gotten some restriction back since i haven't had too much of an appetite and with my abdomen pulled tight. Still swollen and healing. Time will tell how the final look will be but my boobs look good. All round and perky. I have one drain for the abdomen. Thought the drain thing would be hard but its not too bad. Its pinned to my compression garment and i empty it a couple times a day.

How are you ?

Gosh, hard as all this sounds, and I'm sure it was NOT easy---I'm absolutely green with envy that you got this! Good for you!! I'd love to get things done like this, but am not so bad that it's medically necessary, and definitely not something in the budget. I'm so happy for you! Hope the itching stops and you get to enjoy the new look as it emerges from bandages and swelling. :D

Thx so much! I did it thru my insurance. I finally found a plastic surgeon willing to submit everything.

Thx for the well wishes guys. Im finally over my buyers remorse as i heal [emoji23] u definitely need someone to help you after surgery. I only took a week off from work. I should have done 2. Finally the tape is off incisions. Last weekend I ended up in the hospital. I was very anemic. So I was given blood and iron. But im good now. Fluid was leaking from an incision site (i got scared) but I found out that it was normal and good. They don't want the fluid to build up inside of u.

No it didn't. Did you want it to? I am heading into skin surgery soon. Was it really yucky?

@@Valentina good luck! Your surgery date will be here soon [emoji119]????. Im over the hump now. I don't have to go back to the doctor anymore. Scars are healing so i put scar gel and silicone sheeting. Its supposed to help with the scaring. I still get some swelling in my belly. But overall its going well

You gunna keep "the color"???? Wonderful! :)

I'm one week out. I still have all of my sutures, but was able to get rid of two drains yesterday. I'm having "nerve" pain that I was not expected. The surgical pain itself is tolerable, but the "nerve" pain is unexpected and unacceptable.

By the way----I will NOT be posting pix of my new and "perdy lady bits". Sorry. :)

PS: You look "Maaaavelous, Daaaaling". :)

There are meds specific to nerve pain. Ask your doc about Neurontin.
