  3. My insurance paid for breast lift and panniculectomy. I don't know what the doctors office said. They just said it was approved. I didn't ask any questions lol. This was after seeing about 7+ plastic surgeons. Their office wouldn't submit it or they flat out didn't take the insurance

  7. Hi wl fam! Hows everyone's mending going? Im still getting some swelling at the top of my belly. Still feels weird around my belly button sometimes, a little pain. I tried putting a marble in to shape it but it bothered me. Hopefully it doesn't close up. Sometimes i get an itchy sensation around area but when i go to scratch it doesn't help because the area still has some numbness. Maybe its a ghost pannus itch[emoji3] Feeling a little down tho. Along with the swelling and some weight gain i have to wear some of my old bigger clothes. Its disheartening. But i will get it together. And hopefully the swelling will subside. Hope everyone is feeling better!

  18. Thx for the well wishes guys. Im finally over my buyers remorse as i heal [emoji23] u definitely need someone to help you after surgery. I only took a week off from work. I should have done 2. Finally the tape is off incisions. Last weekend I ended up in the hospital. I was very anemic. So I was given blood and iron. But im good now. Fluid was leaking from an incision site (i got scared) but I found out that it was normal and good. They don't want the fluid to build up inside of u.
  19. @@katesuccess i don't know if im doing this right to tag u lol
  20. How are you ? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App Hi! Im doing better this week thx
  21. Gosh, hard as all this sounds, and I'm sure it was NOT easy---I'm absolutely green with envy that you got this! Good for you!! I'd love to get things done like this, but am not so bad that it's medically necessary, and definitely not something in the budget. I'm so happy for you! Hope the itching stops and you get to enjoy the new look as it emerges from bandages and swelling. Thx so much! I did it thru my insurance. I finally found a plastic surgeon willing to submit everything. Thx so much! I did it thru my insurance. I finally found a plastic surgeon willing to submit everything.
  22. Hi everyone! Its been a week. Ive mostly been itchy rather than in pain so that was frustrating. But doctor said I could take benadryl. I finally have my routine together. Pain meds and something to drink within reach lol. I've certainly gotten some restriction back since i haven't had too much of an appetite and with my abdomen pulled tight. Still swollen and healing. Time will tell how the final look will be but my boobs look good. All round and perky. [emoji3] I have one drain for the abdomen. Thought the drain thing would be hard but its not too bad. Its pinned to my compression garment and i empty it a couple times a day.
  23. @@woo woo im doing much better today thx for asking!
  24. @@SassyNanny aww thx. Im trying. Those pounds will be off before you know it! Keep going
