Protein shake problems

Just tried GNC lean 25 vanilla shake (mixed with lactaid/water)...and previously tried the chocolate they were awful :( Going to pick up some premier Protein ready to drink at costco. What else can I try that doesn't taste nasty? I'm pretty sensitive to tastes apparently because others have said they love them. I chugged it-- there is no way I can do slow sips! How does unflavored protein work? What am I doing wrong?

I like Body Fortress from Walmart. The chocolate is my favorite. Vanilla is okay too. strawberry is just so-so. The chocolate and Peanut Butter is okay as well.

Syntax nectar.....peach, Cherry, lemonade, iced tea, Caribbean cooler, grape, vanilla, cappuccino, cookies and cream, chocolate truffle and probably others I can't remember. You can get individual packets to try at many health food stores and on Amazon.

In addition to Syntrax Nectars, you might also want to try ProtiDiet liquid beverage concentrates. They aren't meal replacements, but are a good way to get in extra protein, especially when you are on clear liquids.

PS, I like the GNC Lean 25 in orange cream.

I had problems tolerating most of the Protein shakes I tried. I eventually found Isopure zero carb drinks (ready to drink bottles with lots of flavors), I like the Alpine punch flavor. They are sold at Amazon, GNC, and the Vitamin Shop. They aren't milky at all which seems to work for me. At first it was a little bitter (almost like unsweeted kool aid, but I quickly adapted and love it!. It was approved by my NUT as well. I also enjoyed the powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chicken Soup. Good luck and try different products until you find your thing!

I'm still pre surgery, last year when I was diagnosed as prediabetic, I had to eat similarly to the way you do after WLS... I use this Protein powder with Water and would add cinnamon, flax seed and sometimes Peanut Butter etc... I have found ready to drink Protein shakes are awful... This one is Cookies and cream flavor, got it at costco...
