Newbie here..1st post need help with abbreviations!

I recently found this board and have been lurking but finally decided to join in! I have been approved for surgery but haven't scheduled it yet. I am really struggling with the final decision to have the procedure. I am still in the information gathering stage even though I have been approved by my insurance company.

I have found SO MUCH great information on this board but I can't keep up with all of the abbreviations!! Is there a glossary of abbreviations out there somewhere?
