How long from start to finishing

Hey I want to know what is everyone experiences with the start to finish meaning from your first appointment to the surgery date please help because I got all my requirements done but I still have to weigh in for 6months in a row before I can get a date

Mine journey started 9/10/15 after goung thru 90 day diet, medical clearance hoops , f/u appts, my surgery date was made on 3/16/16 to have surgery on 5/18/16.. currently on pre op diet #8, so pls take this time to read books about your surgery and what is all entails... esp the mental part to eating...
