Lapband with plication

I'm interested in hearing how others with lapband and plication are fairing? I had surgery on 4/25/2016, so it's only been 7 days. I feel great, no major problems or hiccups but I just feel like maybe I'm not eating enough? I don't know how to tell if I'm full or maybe it's still too early to tell?

Anyway, just wanted to see how others are doing or how their journey has gone.

  • Thank you for the info. Not quite two weeks after surgery and I'm down 31 lbs! No issues and no hunger, which is a very weird feeling that I'm getting used to.

I've read other posts by members with plication and don't recall any of them having problems. Don't be surprised if you go several months with very little hunger and of course, very little room for food to displace. Welcome and have fun on your journey.

Most plication patients lose weight faster than the rest of us. Keep going!
