So, I failed my upper GI. I had horrible heartburn the night before my test. I've seriously only had heartburn 3-4 times in my entire life. The test showed I had GERD. I've remained queasy and have had general tummy troubles for over a week now. My husband had a similar bug. Is it possible that I had a bug and my endoscopy in a week or so will come up clear?
My first choice is to get the sleeve, but will go for gastric bypass if necessary. Insurance has already approved the sleeve and I'll have to resubmit if I change surgeries. I was hoping for an early summer surgery so I can recover before I go back to work as a teacher.
Has this happened to anyone else? Need positive vibes, please.
Thanks :-)
