Submitted to Aetna

Hello everyone,

Today was my last nutrition appt and this week, probably tomorrow, my information will be submitted to Aetna. I did all that I was supposed to do. Now I'm simply praying that all goes as planned.

My only jitters are about the surgery itself Advice? Input? Thoughts? Lol

Ugh! That's frustrating. It took me about 6 days. There's a lot to review. I just had to be patient. They will call when it's time. Let me know how things go.

Congrats Dawnie Doo. I also have Aetna. I've been approved for VSG as early as July. I've 2 visits with the surgeon & nutritionist. I have my next visit in early June & I'll get my date then. So far I'm down 14 lbs. since 4/13.

Update...

Just left the Dr's office. They want to review my info from the first bariatric Dr and let me know what they can use and what tests/steps need to be repeated with the new bariatric Dr.

The new Dr has a $600 fee that needs to be paid before surgery, which insurance doesn't cover. They are going to see if they can reduce it because I had everything done already. ????????????

...and more waiting begins...
