Anyone else surgeon have them write a personal letter as to why you need the surgery ? It's to be submitted with my insurance packet as well.

I have not but I did see sample letters online. Look on Obesity Action Coalition website.

Ahh so it is a common thing lol. Just thought maybe it was my surgeon. I'll check out that site cause I'm stumped as what to say other than I need it bad lol.

I would recommend that you do not see what others have written.

This letter should come from within YOU.

Just start writing. You will be surprised, I think on what shows up on the paper.

Do this by yourself---for yourself.

PS: write it in cursive so in days to come it will be "in code" because future generations are in jeopardy of not learning cursive.

Obviously don't copy what others wrote but seeing a sample is always helpful to get my mind on the right track.
