I am... I am 3 months into my 6 months of supervised weight loss... However since I have decided to have this surgery I find myself thinking " one last time " and some days eating more than I should...

Is it normal? No. You, like most of us, have a food addiction and have not yet began to take control of it. Please realize that even with the surgery you will have to take control of it or you will gain it all back, if not more.

It's common.

Realize that you are doing emotional eating here and use it as a lesson to change your behavior. You are nervous and/or excited, plus scared inside about the changes you have to make, so you are eating. Plus you are mourning the loss of favorite foods. Recognize what you are doing and find ways to change it.

My 5th of 6th monthly dietician meetings is Wednesday, and I'm guilty of taking off a week or two after meetings.

I've had weight loss every month, but I know the cheating ends soon.
