Stall is killing me
I'm not an expert, but I'd guess that your low calorie intake is killing your metabolism. Sent from my Nexus 5X using the BariatricPal App

Any Iowa sleevers?
I'm ten days away from my 2 month surgery anniversary, and everything has been smoother than I'd have ever hoped. My 1 month follow-up meeting went well, but they said that I need to start eating more regular food, since I've grown accustomed to Protein shakes for Breakfast and lunch. It doesn't take much to fill me up, but I'm able to eat a lot more than I thought I would. I always thought people ate a few bites, but I'm able to eat more. I'm closing in on 70 pounds lost since my biggest weight, and over 30 pounds since surgery on 9/26. Sent from my Nexus 5X using the BariatricPal App

Wanting to know
I'm a month past my surgery, and I was second guessing myself right up until the day before surgery. I even wondered what in the hell I'd done in the days after the surgery. Now I'm 100% positive that I made the right choice. I'm making progress, and I've got good things to look forward to. Now I'm just wishing I'd done this years ago. Guys who started over 400 lbs.
Started the journey on 12/10 at 419, had my surgery on 9/26, and right now I'm at 364.

Any Iowa sleevers?
Nice!! I'm down about 23 right now, with my one month follow-up on 11/10. I'm much bigger than you, so you've lost more, in terms of percentage of body weight. Congrats! Sent from my Nexus 5X using the BariatricPal App

Pills are they hard to swallow
Not for me. Did you have issues swallowing pills before surgery? Sent from my Nexus 5X using the BariatricPal App

Any Iowa sleevers?
What was your surgery date? Mine was 9-29-16. I had headaches for a few days after surgery. I think it was caffeine withdrawals.Mine was 9/26, so just a few days prior. Sent from my Nexus 5X using the BariatricPal App

Any Iowa sleevers?
^ That's about what I'm like as well, and I'm almost four weeks from surgery. The no caffeine thing is killing me!! Sent from my Nexus 5X using the BariatricPal App

Ginger Ale
I've read that ginger ale is fine, as long as you let it go flat first. You don't want to drink it carbonated. Sent from my Nexus 5X using the BariatricPal App

Apple Cider Vinegar?
I plan to ask my doctor for a timeframe on my next appointment, which is 11/10. My program has a phone number to call with questions, so you may want to do that. Sent from my Nexus 5X using the BariatricPal App

September Sleevers!
No problems sleeping here, even though I've always had issues prior to surgery. I take a 5mg melatonin pill and it knocks me out way better than it used to. Sent from my Nexus 5X using the BariatricPal App

Apple Cider Vinegar?
I tried it about two weeks post surgery, and it hurt my stomach. I told my wife, who used to be a CNA, and she told me to stop being a moron! I think I'll wait until about six months. Sent from my Nexus 5X using the BariatricPal App

Able to eat almost anything
OP, sorry to pile on here, but you really do have to realize what you're doing here. Granted, some of the guidelines we're given are probably safer than needed, but it's for our protection. You're not just putting your toe over the line, you're stepping way past it. Sent from my Nexus 5X using the BariatricPal App

Liquid Diet
It did get easier for me. I think the first 2-3 days were the hardest, and by the end of it, I barely noticed. I'm almost a month post-op now, so I'm about to get back to solids, but I miss caffeine WAY more. Sent from my Nexus 5X using the BariatricPal App
