Yeah, pepper might not be your best friend one week out. I'm impressed that you are allowed creamed soups, but every program is different. I would say to treat your new sleeve like a new born baby-

Hi cbuck1212

I am just about 3 weeks out. I started adding pepper to the Soups at about a week and a half and it agrees with me just fine. Along this process you will learn that the most basic thing can turn you upset down and other times they will go just fine. So far the main thing I can't handle is fish. But I haven't tried a ton yet. You will learn what works for you and what you will have to come back and revisit it later.

I am one week post op. I made a thinned down cream soup and put some pepper in for taste. BAD IDEA. I think I need to settle for bland for a while.

I would say to treat your new sleeve like a new born baby--gently and blandly until it heals a bit more.

Take care of yourself. :)
