Haven't taste the cookie and cream yet but the other one is ok. I love their protein powder as well and that the fact they sale in singles so you can try out before you purchase a big container. But the cal count is 190 and have 21g of protein

I'm sure they have them at your local GNC

Thank you.

Do they have the bitter taste?

Nope. They just taste like a candy bar to me.

Cool. Thanks again, my surgeon told me no shakes or bars. I never get to 80 grams 65 at best .. I just want to add bars in to help.

Are there any Protein bars out there which do not have sugar alcohols in them? I'd like to up my protein a little but every bar I've tried has upset my pouch (RNY).

Some of the common sugar alcohols include xylitol, maltitol, erythritol, etc.

I'm not sure, this is my first time hunting them down I will keep you posted. Have you asked your nutritionist?

If I remember correctly, some of the Quest Bar flavors don't have sugar alcohols. The ones that do use erythritol.

The best protein bars I have ever had are the Oh Yeah One bars. I don't think I can ever force myself to eat another Quest bar again. The difference is night and day. The Lemon cake tastes just like lemon cake, it is delightful.
