Mine was basically Atkin's Level 1 (high protein/no sugar or starches). I was supposed to do it for 2 weeks, but I was able to get an earlier surgery date so didn't have to do it adult week. The day before surgery I was on clear liquids.

I was supposed to do a week of liquids. High protein shakes, sugar free jello, broth, and sugar free popsicles.

I was so worried that my liver would not shrink enough that I did two weeks instead.

5 more days!!

Clear liquids and a clean out the day before surgery for the surgeon; 6 months of monitored diet and exercise for insurance.
