Protein Powders

My dietitian suggested that I start trying Protein powders and pre-made Protein drinks now so that I know what I like before surgery. Anyone have any suggestions of what they like? I also see people posting about unflavored protein... Where can I get that? Thanks in advance!

I didn't try any before surgery but knew from previous experience that I did not like the pre mixed Protein in aluminum cans. I also knew I needed at least x amount of protein and below x amount of carbs and calories. And I also knew I was over the same 'ol strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla flavors. So I looked on line to see what I could find and personally feel I struck gold. It is optimum nutrition and they have their own website and also sold online at GNC and other nutrition stores. The best part is their flavors: cupcake batter, salted caramel, key lime, caramel toffee fudge, rocky road, and others. I blend it with ice and take a sip every few minutes. I originally ordered 4 and ordered 4 more today. My 9 and 11 year old even love it.

I like Optimum Nutrition's pb and chocolate

there are pages and pages of people talking about which Protein powders they've tried. It's in the food forum.

I like the Premier Protein. You can get them at Costco and the premixed ones are great

I just discovered syntrax nector protein drinks. Each pkg is 23g of protein with no fat or carbs. It is more like crystal light and you mix it with water. I get mine on Amazon.
