Same here, although it does seem to be getting better. The hot stuff leaves me feeling a bit queasy.

I had the same issue with spicy foods too. My hubby does most of the cooking and at first he cut out all spices. Then he began slowly adding things back into the cooking at around the 5 month mark.

I am about 3 months out and at the stage where I am back to normal food.
I can tolerate most foods, but don't eat bread, pasta, pastry, rice or potatoes.
For my evening meals I usually have a meat portion with some veg. However I find that since surgery I can't tolerate how spicy I usually season my meat or any spicy sauces.
Has any one else experienced this and if so did it pass?
I really like spicy/hot flavours and my family cook with a lot of spicy seasonings as well. So I am hoping it will pass?
